The new Chalacatepec airport, currently under development will be located midway between Careyes and Punta Perula, 15 miles from the inland town of Tomatlan, 17 miles north of Chamela and 40 miles north of La Manzanilla, and will be operational in late 2026, and an hour away from Villa Star of the Sea. This will mean there will be more airline options to the area.

For six to eight persons we can arrange a horse back trek on the beach, or take advantage of light traffic on our local roads and enjoy a morning bicycle ride.

Bicycles, horses, quad tours are available locally, as is sight-seeing, as well as many shops, restaurants and things to see. Pristine beaches out your door.
