Located 17 kilometers from Manzanillo-Costalegre International Airport (ZLO), and approximately 14 Km from Barra de Navidad and Melaque, the resort is close to great dining and shopping experiences.

Cihuatlan, the closest main town, has a larger grocery store that offers everything needed for your stay. There are also local neighborhood stores offering great local meats and produce. Taxi fares to nearby towns and the airport are reasonable, and guests can also rent a vehicle, that can be delivered right to Villa Star of the Sea, for shopping, dining, and exploring the local region.

The resort’s intranet site contains information on dining, shopping, transportation, and tours, and we also go into the local towns several times during the week to keep fresh produce for La Sirena Gordita, inviting guests to tag along for shopping. We also have a local driver who is fluent in English and Spanish available at very reasonable rates.
